Pushups are a classic bodyweight exercise for the chest, shoulders, and triceps, while your core and glutes work isometrically to keep your body in a straight line.

Start in a plank with hands just outside shoulder-width and your body forming one straight line from head to heels. Lower your chest toward the floor by bending your elbows at roughly a 45-degree angle to your torso, then press back up to full extension without letting your hips sag or pike upward.
