Workout: Run 6 Miles by Ryvr



More info / tips:

6 miles is a very useful training distance for many runners from 5k racers to marathoners. It's not as much of a time commitment as some of the longer endurance distances, but it's well into the zone where you have run long enough to be burning some actual body fat as a fuel source.

6 miles is 9.66 kilometers -- just short of the popular 10 K race distance.

A six mile training run might be a long running for 5 K and shorter distance racers, while for half-marathoners and marathoners, it is probably around the shortest maintenance distance for a regular run.
